Welcome to our Stuart Florida fishing Report. The summer sailfish bite continues to be good to excellent on most days and the Blackfin Tuna are stacked on the ridge 10 miles offshore. The dolphin fishing continues to be hit and miss but we’re catching a few gaffers up to 18 pounds and it’s picking up a bit. Kingfish and bonito are providing plenty of action in-between the sailfish bites on the reef line just 5 or 6 miles offshore.
The Blackfin tuna on the hill are 5 to 10 pound footballs and they’re aggressively feeding right now. We caught 21 blackfins in about 2 hours yesterday and although they’re not as big as the tunas we catch on the Bahamas side they still look great on a plate.
It’s well know around the world that Stuart Florida has an awesome sailfish bite during the winter months but the summer sailfish bite is second to none. We’re getting 3 to 5 hook-ups on most of our sailfish charters and catching 2 or 3.
The dolphin fishing’s been hit & miss both near shore and offshore but running and gunning the deeper waters of the gulfstream is my favorite this time of year. We don’t always find them out there but when we do it’s game on.
There’s been allot of action around the six mile reef. Sailfish, kingfish, bonito, dolphin, cobia, amberjack, sharks and snappers. Give us a call and let’s catch some fish. Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
Welcome to Reel Busy Charters and our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. The last ten days we’ve had the good , the bad and the ugly. Some days the catching was good, some days the fishing was good but not so much catching going on and some days the sea conditions were just to ugly to fish. The good news is April is here and so are the dolphin, tuna and wahoo.
After a dismal weekend of dolphin fishing the bite turned on this week and the dolphin are pushing through. The conditions were a bit too sporty for some of our customers this week so we came home early but not without a good catch of dolphin. Most of the dolphin are 7 to 10 pound gaffers and we’re catching at least one or two 15 to 20 pound dolphin per charter.
The Tuna fishing is off to a slow start but the blackfin tuna are starting to show up on the hill about 10 miles offshore. On most days we’ve been spending about an hour or so on the hill catching 5 or 6 tunas but when they stack up we’ll be catching a dozen or more. Most of the blackfins are 5 to 10 pounds with the larger blackfin tunas going 15 to 20 pounds.
April is an excellent month for Wahoo fishing off the coast of Stuart and Jupiter Florida. There’ll be a scattering of wahoo bites during the month of April with a flurry the week before and after the full moon of April 22nd. Most of the wahoo we catch are 15 to 35 pounds but we’ve caught 60 pound wahoo off the coast of Stuart, 80 pounds off the Bahama Bank.
The Reel Busy is a full time Stuart Florida Charter Boat fishing the waters off the coast of Stuart Fl. and the Bahamas. We specialize in dolphin, tuna, wahoo, sailfish and blue marlin. Experience makes a difference. We look forward to hooking you up with a great day on the water catching fish. Call Captain Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
The sailfish season is off to a late start again this year but with 3 weeks of cold fronts pushing through it’s bound to light up reel soon. We’ve been catching and/or missing a few on most of our Stuart Florida Fishing Charters but nothing red hot yet. There’s another cold front pushing through today and tomorrow and I’m hoping to find a red hot sailfish bite and a few dolphin when we get back offshore in a couple days.
The cold fronts this time of year push acres of bait into the waters off the coast of Stuart followed by the predators we’re looking for; sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo, tuna and cobia. The shallower reefs, wrecks and edges will be holding sailfish, kingfish and cobia while the deeper reefs and current edges will be holding sailfish, dolphin, wahoo and tuna.
The fishing in January was hit & miss this year due to the lack of cold fronts but they’re pushing through now and Stuart Florida’s the place to be this February. We’ll be catching sailfish, dolphin and cobia with a few kingfish, wahoo and tuna in the mix.
Thanks for considering Reel Busy Charters and we plan to hook you up with a reel busy day catching fish. Call Capt. Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
Welcome to Reel Busy Charters and another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World. The lack of cold fronts has the sailfish season off to a slow start but that’s all about to change. Acres of baitfish are showing up and there’s no doubt the packs of sailfish and cobia we’ve been waiting for won’t be far behind.
We’ve been catching 1 or 2 sailfish on most of our Stuart Florida Fishing Charters but we should be catching at least 3 to 5 this time of year. There’s packs of migratory sailfish coming down the coast with every cold front and right now they’re about 40 to 50 miles north of us. We’ll start seeing these packs as early as this week and should have an excellent sailfish bite through February this year.
The dolphin or mahi mahi provided most of the offshore action last week and the dolphin fishing should continue to be good to excellent on most days. Five to fifteen pound dolphin are moving around in packs so there’s been some quiet time in-between the pandemonium.
Kingfish are still abundant along the reefs and wrecks and although they might not be as tasty as mahi mahi , smoked kingfish is excellent.
Sailfish and Dolphin are the main attraction this time of year but we’ll also be catching kingfish, wahoo, tuna and cobia. Give us a call and get hooked up with a great day on the water catching fish. Capt. Wayne Brodeur, 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
Happy New Year ! We’ve been catching sailfish, dolphin & kingfish on most of our Stuart Florida Fishing Charters. The fishing slowed a bit around the full moon but sailfish, dolphin and kingfish we’re all more plentiful last week. The first cold front of the year is pushing through this weekend and a red hot sailfish bite shouldn’t be far behind.
We’ve been catching one or two sailfish on most of our fishing charters but we haven’t seen the packs of sailfish that fire up the double and triple hook ups yet. We’re catching a few dolphin in-between the sailfish bites and the kingfish bite’s been red hot the last few days.
It’s a great time of year to do some Stuart Florida Fishing and Reel Busy Charters will hook you up with a great time on the water catching sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo and more. Call Capt. Wayne and we’ll get busy catching fish. 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
The winds and seas have kept us at the dock more than we like the last ten days but the dolphin fishing’s been excellent. Caught 7 dolphin and lost a few more on a 1/2 day fishing charter and 16 dolphin and a wahoo on a 3/4 day fishing charter.
Dolphin, sailfish, kingfish and wahoo are all showing up right now just 6 to 8 miles offshore. The cold fronts push through with allot of wind and sporty seas but in-between the fronts the fishing is excellent. Give us a call and get hooked up with a great day on the water catching fish aboard the Reel Busy. Call Capt. Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters
The Reel Busy is a full time Stuart Florida Charter Boat but this time of year we do as many Bahamas fishing adventures as possible. We’ve been catching sailfish, dolphin, tuna, kingfish, cobia, bonito, amberjack and sharks on our Stuart Florida Fishing Charters. We’re catching Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Snappers and Grouper on our Bahamas Fishing Adventures.
The summer sailfish bite has been excellent and should continue to be for a few more weeks. Stuart Florida is know for the wintertime sailfish bite during the winter sailfish migration but they can’t migrate south in the winter without passing through in the summer.
We’ve been catching small blackfin tuna and dolphin on the hill about 10 miles offshore. We’re releasing allot of peanut dolphin and not catching as many big ones as I like but we’re catching fishing and that’s always fun.
Let us know what you want to catch and we’ll try to get ‘r done. Sailfish, dolphin, tuna, cobia, kingfish, amberjack and sharks are all on the menu right now. Thanks for considering Reel Busy Charters and we look forward to hooking you up with a great day on the water catching fish. Capt. Wayne Brodeur, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
Stuart Florida fishing is usually good this time of year and February’s off to a hot start. The near shore waters are loaded with bait now and we’re catching sailfish and dolphin just 6 to 8 miles off the beach. We’ll be catching sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo, cobia, bonita and sharks this month and have a few week days available the 3rd and 4th week this month.
The dolphin fishing has been good to excellent the last week or so and we’re catching dolphin from 5 to 25 pounds on all of our fishing charters. The average day is 5 or 6 dolphin and the good days we’re catching 10 to 15 dolphin. The dolphin are pushing through in waves so every day is different but overall the dolphin fishing has been excellent.
The recent cold fronts are finally pushing a few more sailfish down the coast and we look forward to a good sailfish bite in the coming days and weeks. We caught a couple, lost one and missed a couple sailfish bites on our last trip out and hope to find a red hot sailfish bite this week. Overall the sailfishing has been decent but not great and we’re still waiting for a late winter flurry.
The reefs & wrecks will soon be loaded with cobia that are following the bait down the Treasure Coast. We haven’t had any manta ray encounters as of yet but it’s only a matter of time before they show up with cobia in tow.
Stuart Florida Fishing Adventures aboard the REEL BUSY, we catch fish and you can too. CALL: Capt. Wayne Brodeur, 772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters. Thank You !
Now’s the time to do some Stuart Florida Fishing aboard the REEL BUSY. Sailfish and Dolphin are providing most of the action but we’re also catching Tuna, Kingfish, Bonita, Sharks and Wahoo.
Dolphin fishing has been good to excellent although they’ve been scattered about. We’ve had to do some hunting around but we’ve been catching at least 4 or 5 on every fishing charter. We caught a dozen dolphin yesterday and jumped off just as many. The dolphin are pushing through in packs so we’ve been having more multiple hook ups than singles lately, you gotta love it.
There hasn’t been a red hot sailfish bite yet but there will be and it could happen any time now. We’ve been getting 2 or 3 opportunities and catching 1 or 2 but we should be getting at least 4 or 5 opportunities, 7 to 10 on a good day. The sailfishing is decent and will continue to get better so if you want to catch a sailfish now’s the time to give us a call and catch sailfish.
Baits starting to show up around some of the reefs & wrecks and the Cobia won’t be too far behind them. Giant Manta Rays with packs of Cobia below usually show up in January/February and sight fishing for cobia under the manta rays is a blast.
Happy Holidays ! Reel Busy Charters, Capt. Wayne Brodeur 772-341-6609
Welcome to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. If you’re visiting Jupiter, Stuart, Jensen Beach or Port St. Lucie this is a great time of year to get hooked up with a Stuart Florida Charter Boat.
Sailfish and MAHI-MAHI are providing most of the action and the conditions are picture perfect this week. We’ve been catching MAHI-MAHI ranging in size from 5 to 25 pounds just 6 to 8 miles off the beach. On most days you can expect to catch at least 3 to 5 MAHI-MAHI with a Sailfish or two in the mix.
As fall settles in the Sailfish and MAHI- MAHI begin their winter migration and the waters off the coast of Stuart Florida are teaming with fish. Sailfish, MAHI-MAHI, Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Cobia, Barracuda, Bonita and Wahoo are all possibilities this time of year.
